    Marion Megahan, 76, of Hot Springs Village died on Wednesday June 11, 2014 at a local hospital. Marion was born February 8, 1938 in Wheeling, West Virginia to the late Walter and Leah (Fredricks) Weisal.

    While in High School, Marion meet the love of her life Bob Megahan and spent five years dating him, until they married in 1960 beginning a life filled with love and excitement.

    Following an early retirement, she and Bob moved to Hot Springs Village in August 1994, where she quickly filled her time participating in many clubs and organizations. Marion and Bob are members of Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church where they previously were in charge of Care Ministries and she was very active in the Woman’s Circle. She was also involved in a Bunko Club, Red Hatters, HSV Audubon and volunteered for Arkansas Hospice.

    Marion is preceded in death by her daughter: Robyn Lynn Megahan; and one brother: Walter Weisal. She is survived by her loving husband of fifty-four years Bob Megahan, one son: Robert Scott Megahan and his wife Jean of Houston, TX, and her two beautiful granddaughters: Allison Nicole and Jenna Lynn Megahan and one very special neice Carolyn Robinson of Columbus, Ohio.

    A Memorial Service will be held on Friday June 20, 2014 at 10:00 AM at Christ of the Hills United Methodist Church with Dr. Walter Smith and Rev. R T Jarrell officiating, inurnment will follow at CedarVale Cemetery.

    The family would like to extend their special thanks to Good Samaritan Society and Arkansas Hospice for their exceptional care and love they extended to Marion.

    In lieu of flowers, all donation can be made in her honor to Arkansas Hospice at 628 Malvern Ave, Hot Springs 71913, or Jackson House at 705 Malvern Ave, Hot Springs 71913.

    Services are entrusted to CedarVale Funeral Home.
